Privacy

Privacy, in plain words.

What stays private, what is shared on purpose, and what hasn’t been decided yet.

Draft — being finalized before Aiddu opens to families. Not yet a binding policy.

Where things stand

Aiddu is in private testing and isn’t open to families yet. This draft describes how Aiddu works today; it is not yet a binding privacy policy.

Not decided yet: the countries Aiddu will serve, how long information is kept, and how a guardian’s consent is confirmed. Aiddu is operated by NullSquare, Inc. The final policy will state these plainly before Aiddu opens to families.

What stays private

Each person’s conversation with their guide is private to them. A parent can’t read their child’s chat, and a child can’t read their parent’s.

Drafts and the preferences you set for your guide stay in your own space.

What is shared, and how

Family records are shared only on purpose:

Every shared record shows who it is for.

Your child’s account

A child doesn’t need an email address. A parent creates a one-time invitation code, and parent and child check that the same numbers appear on both screens before the parent approves the connection.

A parent can disconnect their child’s device at any time. See Account & data.

Voice

Aiddu receives only the words you speak, turned into text by your device’s own speech recognition. It never receives or stores audio. Your device’s speech service may process your voice on the device or through the device maker’s service, under that device’s settings and terms.

AI processing

To reply, a guide sends the AI model your own conversation and the shared family records it needs — never the other person’s private chat. The AI provider for the released product hasn’t been finalized. See How Aiddu uses AI.

This website

This website has no accounts, forms or sign-up. Its pages set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. Like any website, the hosting service receives standard request information, such as your IP address, in order to deliver pages.

Not built yet

Email verification, password recovery and ways to get a copy of your data or delete your account aren’t built yet. Account & data explains how that will be handled.

Who operates this app

This app is operated by NullSquare, Inc. For privacy questions and requests, contact null@nullsquare.net.

Google sign-in

When Google sign-in is available and you choose it, Google provides the identity information authorized by the request, such as your Google account identifier, verified email address, name and profile picture. We use that information to verify your sign-in and associate it with the correct app account. We do not receive your Google password.

Basic Google sign-in does not authorize access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts. An optional Google service connection requires a separate authorization. Signing in does not grant an invitation, role, subscription or access to another person’s data.

You can revoke the app’s authorization in your Google Account settings. Revocation does not automatically delete app records already held. Contact null@nullsquare.net to ask about access, correction or deletion. Google handles its part of sign-in under Google’s privacy policy.

Retention and deletion — decision pending

Account and product-data retention periods, deletion handling and backup expiry have not yet been finalized for public release. This draft does not promise a deletion deadline or an automated account-deletion feature. These details will be stated in the final policy before the relevant service opens.
